"Lionfish Mermaid" - A re-imagining of my earlier mermaid bust this time based on a lionfish and holding a blue-ringed octopus. This was a commissioned sculpture and a lot of fun.
Odin's Runesong "Odin's Runesong" - Based on the poem from the Poetic Edda. If you would like to read the full poem click here: Odin's Runesong. To sum it up, Odin sacrificed himself to himself by hanging for nine days and nights on the world tree Yggdrasil in order to gain the secret of the runes.
Squid Thumbnail Image "Squid" - I love cephalopods. 9 inches tall with a 6 inch long squid sculpted from super sculpey.

Baby Rat Thumbnail Image "Baby Rat" - Life sized newborn rat in a little cradle. Sculpted in super sculpey and is 1.25 inches long.
Perma-Pets Thumbnail Image "Perma-pets" - To continue the series started with the Octopuppy I've done these little cuties based on cuttlefish (not a fish they are related to squid) and sea slugs. I like the idea of making creatures that most people find creepy like octopus and squid seem cute. Conversely I like making cute animals creepy like my Kelpie. *Currently in the Elements Gallery in Bethel, ME.* Custom perma-pets also available.
Satyr Thumbnail Image "Satyr" - This is my first successful male sculpture so I'm prety proud of him right now, he happens to be anatomically correct though that's not clear in the photos. Super sculpey painted in acrylics, the base is wood. He's 8 inches tall reclined, if standing he would be 12 inches tall.
Octopuppy Thumbnail Image "Octopuppy" - Baby octopus in a jar. This cutey is super sculpey as is the lid of his jar, painted in acrylics, real rocks and shell inside the jar, the "water" is a clear acrylic gel resin. The jar is 6inches tall, the octopuppy itself is only around 2.5 inches at the widest point between tentacles.

Fleeing Centaur Thumbnail "Fleeing Centaur" - Super Sculpey tinted grey with Sculpey III, painted with acrylic. Costuming is doll hair, fabric, and ribbon. The base is a pine plaque covered with floral moss with some silk flowers, pebbles, mini pine cones, sand, and sticks added. For Sale.
